Torben Skarsfeldt, PhD

Dr. Torben Skarsfeldt joined FPG in 2010 to augment our capabilities in Northern Europe, especially Scandinavia. Torben brings extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, 17 years in Research & Discovery and 13 years of International Business Development.

Most recently Torben was CEO of Pharma Guidance, a small US-based biotech company. From 2004-2009, he was Project Director at Lundbeck, having joined the International Licensing Department in 1997, and becoming Director of Business Development in 2001. He was also a Member of the Lundbeck Supervisory Board from 1990 – 2006.

Torben graduated as a Doctor of Science from Copenhagen University, when he previously received his Master of Science. He is the co-inventor of an antipsychotic drug that has been marketed in 15 countries (Serdolect).
