Michael M. Tarnow, JD Non-Executive Chairman Michael Tarnow was appointed Chairman of Ferghana in 2003. Michael currently serves as director and advisor to several early and mid-stage life sciences companies in North America and Europe. He is the Chairman of Entremed, Inc., Xenon Pharmaceuticals and Nanopharma, LLC and Director of Axcan Pharma, Caprion Pharmaceuticals and MediGene, Inc. and serves on the Board of the Food and Drug Law Institute. Michael’s business career included over 20 years with Merck & Co., Inc, including service as Executive Director , Corporate Development, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merck Frosst Canada and Senior Executive Vice President Medco and Merck Managed Care.
