Ferghana Statement on Bioniche Lawsuit Ferghana Partners Inc. has become aware of a press release issued on 20 October 2011 by its former client, Bioniche Life Sciences Inc. The press release concerns Ferghana's claim to recover a success fee as a result of Bioniche's successful partnering arrangement with Endo Pharmaceuticals for the development and marketing of Bioniche's UROCIDIN bladder cancer product. While Ferghana is disappointed that the court has disagreed with Ferghana's interpretation of the parties' agreement, Ferghana remains very proud of its work in connection with the partnering effort for UROCIDIN, which included introducing, and providing the Information Memorandum on, this otherwise unknown opportunity to Endo. Ferghana also looks forward to refuting Bioniche's newly-lodged counterclaims, which Ferghana believes to be utterly without merit.
