Jesse Schulman, PhD Director, Analysis & Research Responsible for technological and financial analysis, and transaction support. Jesse specializes in R&D and clinical stage opportunities across the life sciences, and applies combined scientific and financial analysis to the evaluation, structuring and execution of transactions.  He has a track record in M&A, Private Placement and Corporate Partnering.  Jesse came to Ferghana Partners from the London office of US investment bank Friedman Billings Ramsey, where he worked in corporate finance and earlier as a sell-side analyst covering companies focusing on disorders of the central nervous system. Originally trained as a neuroscientist, Jesse has published scientific papers in Science, Brain Research and other journals. Jesse is Managing Partner at Capel Thompson & Homer LLC, a Ferghana affiliate providing business development advisory services, and Managing Member of Simile Investors LLC, a US venture partnership. Jesse is also an Emmy Award-winning former foreign correspondent for CBS News and was Biotechnology Correspondent for Financial Times "MarketWatch". PhD in Neurosciences at UC San Diego at the Salk Institute and a BA in Mathematics from Columbia University.
