Incremental Services and Smaller Transactions
In order to provide its clients with incremental advisory services, FPG has developed a collaborative
working relationship with bioStrategies Group, a global strategy consulting firm that works with
Life Science companies to commercialize their products and technologies. The firmâs clientele ranges
from some of the leading biopharmaceutical, drug discovery tool, diagnostic and medical device
companies to startups seeking early stage advice. bioStrategies Groupâs approaches blend strong market
research, quantitative methods, strategic frameworks and extensive industry experience to assist its
clients in making key commercialization decisions. Typical strategy engagements involve research pipeline
and product portfolio management, business model definition, product and clinical development strategy,
market research and the related marketing plans for specific products.
For smaller clients or for smaller transactions, FPG has created a stand-alone but affiliated
advisory service, Capel Thompson & Homer, headed by long-term London colleague, Paul Thompson.
This separate firm specializes in European partnering transactions, interim project management, business
development, product disposals/purchases and technology sales/acquisitions.
